All sensitive permissions are requested explicitly through the standard Android runtime permission prompts. Users may deny or revoke these permissions at any time in their device settings. We do not use Firebase or any third-party platform for permission handling.


Data Retention Policy for SMS Messages

We do not retain any SMS messages on our servers by default. Message logs remain on your local device. If users opt-in to SMS log storage, they can delete this data anytime via app settings.


Background Access or Limited Use

No permissions are used in the background without user awareness. All features operate transparently and only when triggered by the user.


Third-Party Sharing Details

We do not sell or share user data with third parties. Any data you generate through the app remains on your device. If server syncing is enabled, data is securely encrypted. Users may delete all synced data at any time.


Google Play's Sensitive APIs Disclosure

  • SEND_SMS: Required to send messages directly from the device via user/API action.
  • READ_SMS: Only used to auto-read OTP codes during login. No personal or promotional SMS is accessed.
  • CAMERA: Used only for QR code scanning to pair the "MSGP Server" App with the website. Not used for photos or video.
  • WRITE_CONTACTS: Used only when the user saves the MSGP Server support number to contacts.
